Hanukkah Menorah

Hanukkah is the celebration of the re-dedication of the temple after the Maccabean Revolt. The Jews found enough oil for one day, yet the oil lasted for eight days. In celebration, the Hanukkah Menorah has eight branches for eight candles or oil lamps, with a ninth, the shamash candle, which is used to light the other candles.

This menorah is nickel plated brass and stands 25cm (10in) high.
